Transfer Admissions

 

Requirements of Transfer and In-Transfer Students to Apply for Admission

  1. Applicants must have completed required courses in specific areas at an accredited college or university with a GPA of 2.00 or higher (varies by program).

  2. College transcript (required for all).

  3. Standardized test scores (required for some programs).

  4. Statement of good standing from prior institution (s) (required of all).

  5. Students must be fluent in Spanish and knowledge and comprehension of English.

1A student from another institution of higher learning who applies for admissions to the University of Puerto Rico, or a student who has previously been enrolled a a transient student and meets the admission requirements for a given program, will be consider a transfer student.

2In-transfers or internal transfers refer to those students who transfer from one unit of the University of Puerto Rico System to another.
